Ojibwa Scouting Report – July 24th

Over the past couple of days we have been wrapping up our regular seasons and about to begin our playoffs. Today, we hosted our swim prelims for the Collegiate Week Swim Meet. Each league participated in three to four strokes based on their age group. After the times are recorded, the top 6 will participate in each discipline during the Swim Meet, which is hosted during Collegiate Week. It was a great excuse to get everyone in the water on this beautiful day.

Tonight, we had an away social at Agawak. Many siblings, cousins, and friends reunited for a night filled with dancing, hanging out, and Agawak’s famous brownies. Check out our pictures posted tomorrow from the social.

Playoffs are starting tomorrow and the boys are certainly getting excited as that also means the start of Collegiate Week is near. Throughout camp you can hear talks about which Assistants the Head Coaches are going to take and many a debate about the order of the first round picks. Who will be this year’s 1-1? There are several names you hear across campus. Abe W – the Olympics 1-1, Billy R – Captain of the 2019 Olympics Champion, Julius O – Came second session and has been performing at a high level. Whoever it may be, the captain’s supporting cast and the rest of the team are the key to success, so the Head Coaches have already started their draft preparations and scouting.

Here’s to Camp Ojibwa,

Joel and Joey
